At Arch Systems, our customers and partners have been using our products in many countries across four continents, but our managed factory installations have been in the US. That has now changed with our first factory installation in Mexico.
Our POD-1C’s are extracting data from previously dark machines. Complex transformations at the edge result in only the necessary data being transmitted to the cloud, which keeps data costs low. Live dashboards on the lines let operators know where they are with respect to their targets. And, line managers know where to focus their time when bringing up a new line by analyzing WIP (work in progress) and comparing operators doing similar tasks.
We’re looking forward to diving more deeply into the data because the initial analysis shows some very interesting predictive-quality applications.
