Arch Social Impact Partner Releases Study Of Their Work
Measuring data from machines, new and especially legacy, is a key to renewable energy adoption in the developing world. By monitoring a machine’s performance, energy usage profiles can be built up which are essential for communities adopting renewable energy generation vs just using diesel. In partnership with Arch for POD-1Gs, IoT software and machine data expertise, our social impact partner Factor[e] conducted a thorough study of income generating appliances in several rural regions in east Africa.
First Arch POD to log 4 billion data points
We recently celebrated a fun milestone at Arch: the first of our sensor PODs deployed in the field has now recorded 4 billion data points (2^32 that is) in uninterrupted data logging.
This means both that the device has been active for years without being environmentally damaged and replaced as well as that it has been logging uninterrupted without firmware or embedded software issues forcing a reset.
Arch CEO goes on industrial tour of China
This past July, the CEO of Arch Systems, Andrew Scheuermann was invited to an exclusive 10 day tour in China to visit leading Chinese manufacturers to understand their biggest challenges and biggest opportunities. Andrew visited more than ten manufacturers in Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Beijing and he was also featured on a panel about AI in manufacturing in Beijing. Arch looks forward to expanding our coverage to China and joining with new friends to advance the state of Industry 4.0 in global manufacturing.

American Embassy in Islamabad invites Arch CEO, Andrew Scheuermann, for 11-stop speaking series in Pakistan
Andrew Scheuermann, CEO and Cofounder of Arch Systems, was invited by the American Embassy in Islamabad for an 11-stop speaking series across Pakistan. He visited top universities, incubators, and companies in Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi to share about entrepreneurship and early stage finance. Andrew gave talks at the National Incubation Center, the Islamabad Women’s Chamber of Commerce, Plan X, UET Lahore, Beaconhouse National University, LUMS, the Institute of Business Administration in Karachi, the Nest i/o, and more as well as being featured in numerous newspapers and radio shows.
Arch Systems invited as special envoy to Austria to partner with major companies in the German-speaking (DACHs) world
Andrew Scheuermann, CEO and Cofounder of Arch Systems, represented Arch in the ALPS-6 Program. Arch was invited by the foreign ministry of Austria as one of three American companies amongst a special envoy of up and coming companies from around the world. These companies met with top Austrian and German companies in the region to talk about Industry 4.0 and the future of technology.

Arch Systems was selected as part of the Joules Catalyst Program: Cycle 2 that just kicked off in Atlanta and Charlotte. Duke Energy and Southern Company chose Arch to explore how Arch Systems’s Industrial IoT technology could accelerate their efforts to increase reliability, safety, and efficiency of the electrical grid.
